Wild sign defender North Dakota Chay Genoud

The Minnesota Wild signed former University of North Dakota Chay Genoud his defense (JEN'-oh-way) an entry-level contract.

The 24-year-old Genoud helped lead the fight against Western Collegiate Hockey Association regular season and playoff Sioux championships and a spot in the NCAA Frozen Four.
Genoud was four times to gather for all WCHA and Captain and for the last two seasons. He scored six goals and 31 assists in 36 games this season, the fifth year of high school and scored 127 points in 168 career games.
The game was difficult after college free agents Genoud recent years because Chuck Fletcher took over as CEO. Genoud is originally from Manitoba and a product of Shattuck-St. School readiness Mary's in Faribault, Minnesota
